Army of God

First off on today start I would like to say I don’t apologies for what I have written. One I was trying to direct some thought provoking discussion. Second I don’t stray from the BIBLE or the thoughts that God has given me to say. My thoughts may not always come out clear it’s like water in a thimble once it starts it is always overflowing and usually I have had a week to sit on the topic. My topic to day is WAR and how it relates to us. Here is a few scriptures I am taking my thoughts from.
Psalm 73:2-4 King James Version (KJV)
2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.
Matthew 22:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
Ephesians 6:10-20 King James Version (KJV)
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
1 Timothy 6:12 King James Version (KJV)
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Revelation 19:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

I would like to suggest we always do not do a great justice to all who come into the doors of the church we like to call it Gods ER center for sinners when they come in so God can work on them in. But I would like to also purpose it is also for members. I am going to go to the carnal side of the world for a min
WAR
noun
1. 1.
a state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state.

engage in a war.
“small states warred against each other”
synonyms: fight, battle, combat, wage war, make war, be at war, be in conflict, conduct a war, do battle, join battle, take the field, take up arms

From someone who has been tied to the military most his adult life you do not server in without maybe seeing something you do not want to loss of friends, or worse a piece of yourself that it takes a long time to recover.(PTSD) These are facts war is not easy it is hard it claims life it climes limbs and sometimes the land and people hold grudges for generations to come. Nations rise and Fall due to War as dose history.
The Army of God is no different we sometimes get a lot of new souls far and wide so as many are called but few are chose. They come in and they are super excited a bright flame but they get blown out quick Gods gifts are free but it does change what you are going to do with the rest of your life. When David said he almost slipped it was I think a twofold message one he had been fighting to keep up his lifestyle of faith with God which the sinners are not really at war they are the victims they don’t know they need to be pulled and so they seem to have the easy time. I know the rain falls on the just and unjust. But just like a solider on the battle field he has a family and people to take care of and it’s raining but he has to do what it takes to win. Sometimes we forget we are free and that puts a target on us. We Choses to have a good service a Sunday but don’t always do enough to keep up fighting shape all week. Now on Sunday you put your hands up clapped worshiped so you will now be a target strong or week. So I want people to realize in life you may wins and you may lose some and at days you may feel like Job. But God is the General who has a book that in the Revelations that points to an ultimate winner. But you can’t fool yourself that the trip will be easy look at almost the end to all the New Testament Apostilles but if you can’t make it to the back of the book I do have a Good pot right in the middle of the Book for you.
Psalm 91
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
So who do you say that you are.
